About This Pub
Ah, the Prince Arthur – it's one of those pubs that really knows how to pull in a crowd for the big matches, with friendly staff who make you feel like you're among old friends from the get-go. I love how they've got all the major sports on show, whether it's footie or UFC, and the weekends turn into proper parties with DJs spinning tunes, which adds a fun twist to your evening. The drinks are fairly priced, and let's not forget those generous food portions; that American burger sounds like a winner for soaking up the beers. On the flip side, if you're a real ale enthusiast, you might find the selection a bit lacking, as it's all about the keg stuff here, which keeps things straightforward but not exactly varied. It's got a nice beer garden with a telly, great for alfresco viewing, but the sports-centric vibe means it can get a bit lively and less serene if that's what you're after. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good time with mates, as long as you go in with the right expectations – it's all about the excitement and camaraderie, with a few areas where it could step up a notch.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – super friendly and efficient, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
It's a top spot for catching all the big sports events, like Premier League matches or even UFC from abroad, with a lively atmosphere that gets everyone buzzing.
-
Prices are spot on for a night out, with reasonably priced drinks and massive portions of food, like that American burger that's a meal in itself.
-
The beer garden is a lovely touch, especially with a TV out there, perfect for enjoying a pint on a sunny day without missing the action.
-
Weekends bring a fun vibe with DJs and party nights, making it a great place for a proper night out with mates.
Cons
-
The beer selection is a bit limited, mostly keg options and no real ales, which might disappoint if you're after something more traditional.
-
It's very sports-focused, so if you're looking for a quiet, relaxed pub without the telly blaring, it might not be your cup of tea.
-
From what I've seen, it's not the place for a wide variety of craft beers or anything fancy – keeps it simple, but that could feel a tad basic for some.

Great night out fantastic security and bar staff and great djs
Love the vibe of this pub ! Super friendly staff and ... when you want to watch UFC ppv from Dubai thats the place :-) .... massive portion of American burger
The Prince Arthur in west Ealing is a big sports oriented pub with a big horseshoe/island bar dominating centre stage. Great staff offering fast efficient service. There is a small selection of beers on offer from the keg and not a place for real ale enthusiasts, no cask. There is a pool table and a great looking garden with screens showing football. A difficult one to rate, it does everything it can, needs more customers. I wish the place success.
Nice sports bar reasonably priced. Good for football. Fosters, Moretti, Staropramen, Stella,Guiuness, Camden, Strongbow. Party nights at weekends. Shows all major prem matches
A nice and calm old-school pub. Not too crowded ( at least when I visited). Very nice, charming, and welcoming staff. Nice beer garden area with TV. Prices are decent as well. Overall a very nice pub.
