About This Pub
Ah, Black George – it's one of those no-nonsense pubs that really hits the spot if you're after a straightforward, enjoyable evening without the fancy frills. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are top-notch, always friendly and quick with a smile, which makes popping in for a pint feel like catching up with mates. The prices are a winner too; those affordable pints mean you can have a proper sesh without worrying about the wallet, and the jukebox keeps things upbeat with tunes that'll have you singing along in no time. Plus, if you're into your sports, it's a solid choice for watching live football on BT Sports. On the flip side, though, the toilets are a bit of a sore point – they're not exactly pristine, so you might want to plan accordingly. And while most folks rave about the welcoming feel, it seems like it could feel a touch unwelcoming for some, depending on what you're after. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual get-together, but I'd say it's best if you're up for a bit of character and don't mind overlooking the rougher bits.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely lovely and make you feel right at home, always up for a chat.
-
Pints are super affordable, like £3.30 a pop, which is brilliant for keeping the night going without breaking the bank.
-
The atmosphere is spot on – lively with a jukebox blasting out some proper bangers, making it a fun spot for a night out.
-
It's great for footie fans as they show BT Sports, so you can catch live matches in a relaxed setting.
Cons
-
The toilets are a bit of a letdown; they're not the cleanest, which can put a damper on things.
-
It might not be everyone's cup of tea – one person mentioned feeling a bit out of place, so it could come across as a tad rough around the edges for some.

Great staff and colourful characters with a Great pint at very affordable prices
The staff are really friendly and the service is great. The pints are nice and cheap and the atmosphere is perfect for a night out. 100% would recommend!
Simply best boozer in Ealing. Go a long way to find a place with better atmosphere and cheap pints. Jukebox will inevitably be blaring out bangers all night. Come to this pub
Friendly pub, shows BT Sports for live football matches, all pints are £3.30
Toilets are rough though
As a younger, more vain fellow, I used to worry about being recognised by bar staff at my local boozers if I ventured inside to watch football matches by myself. Because of this I used to sneak down to the Black George where literally nobody would ever suspect to find me because, put quite simply, it's the worst pub in the world.
There aren't many places where two blokes would start a fight over a woman with no teeth but this was a nigh on weekly occurrence at the George. I had the severe displeasure of living nearby and knew full well I could go home early and set my watch by when the same scumbag clientèle would be screaming obscenities at each other outside my window at kicking out time.
Get yourself down here if you're a psychologist interested in studying the most depraved and desperate examples of the human condition, otherwise don't even walk past on the same side of the street.
