About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about the Prince Albert Pub in Whitton – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local hideaway. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute stars, always ready with a smile and happy to help, whether you're popping in for a pint or staying in one of their rooms. The atmosphere is spot on too, with cosy candlelight and fun events like Irish music nights that really add to the charm. Food-wise, it's all about those comforting, homemade touches, like creamy mushroom soup and fresh bread, and it's great to hear it's pet-friendly for those with furry companions. Plus, being so close to the rugby ground and trains into London makes it a handy spot for a quick getaway. With a solid 4.6 rating overall, it's clear most folks leave chuffed, but it might not be the place for a lively night out every time – think more relaxed evenings with good company. All in all, it's worth a visit if you're after a welcoming pint and a bit of that community spirit, though do keep in mind it could be quieter mid-week.

A hidden treasure! The mushroom soup was earthy and creamy without being too heavy. Bread came out warm and crusty. Everything felt homemade.
Michael, you've got it right!! A friendly local pub. The staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. I stay there a lot to visit family. The rooms are well appointed, the towels, beds, shower and overall cleanliness excellent. Another plus is proximity to Twickenham rugby ground and trains to London. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.
This use to be our local but we moved to Northern Ireland a couple of years ago.
When we go back to visit we are a bit restricted as to where we can stay because we have a dog but here you can stay with your dog.
We’ve tried Travelodge which are okay but it’s just a room. We’ve tried other Airbnb but they never live up to the reviews/ photos.
Here we stay in the annexe and there is a fully functioning kitchen, there is a king size bed and a table and two chairs for you to eat your meals at and there is a nice sized en-suite.
We’ve stayed here about 4/5 times and we have already booked again for two weeks time.
If you’re in the area for rugby, the stadium is only a mile or so down the road. Whitton high street has several places to eat/ takeaway, shops and a mainline train direct to Waterloo.
There are other pubs in the area but if you want a have a drink in a lovely, friendly local with great staff then this is the pub to go to.
Pop in on a Thursday night for the traditional Irish music session.
We received a very warm welcome. The room was newly renovated and very clean. Michael and his staff couldn't do enough for us.
It was a short walk from the Alianz stadium.
I would highly recommend this place.
