About This Pub

Oh, the Prince Albert – it's one of those classic pubs that just warms your cockles on a chilly evening. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems, always up for a laugh and making sure everyone feels included. The karaoke nights sound like a right riot, and with drinks at reasonable prices, it's easy to settle in for the night without worrying about the tab. Plus, if you're a sports fan, they've got all the channels sorted, so you won't miss a kick. But, let's be straight, it's not in the most convenient spot, so you might need to plan your outing a bit. And honestly, it's a bit gutting to hear about the developers potentially knocking it down – it's been a cornerstone for the community, and losing that would be a real loss. Still, with a solid 4.1 rating from folks who've been there, it's worth a visit if you're in the area, just to soak up that authentic pub feel while you can.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • It's got a cracking atmosphere with great entertainment like karaoke, which really gets the evening going.
  • Drinks are reasonably priced, so you won't break the bank for a pint or two with mates.
  • They show all the sports channels, perfect if you're up for catching a match in a lively setting.
  • It's a proper community hub, with that old-fashioned charm that's become the heart of the local area.
Cons
  • It's a tad out of the way, so you might have to make a bit of an effort to get there.
  • There's a real worry it could be pulled down by developers, which would be a shame for keeping London's pub culture alive.
  • With no recent reviews, it might not be as buzzing as it once was, so things could feel a bit quiet these days.
