About This Pub
Oh, what a lovely little find this Premier Inn in Cleethorpes is – it's got that warm, homely feel with staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable, sorting out problems with a smile and even helping with things like forgotten chargers. The rooms are just the ticket for a good rest, all clean and cosy with those little touches like free Wi-Fi and a solid breakfast to kickstart your day. Being so close to the beach and parks, it's ideal if you're after a relaxed break by the sea. But, and I say this as a mate would, it's not all perfect; the outside areas can look a bit unkempt with weeds in the car park and overflowing bins, which takes away from the charm a touch. Plus, if you're popping into the restaurant, you might notice the service is a bit hurried because they're multitasking, and some rooms have quirks like high beds or no showers, which could be a bother for some. Still, with its strong points shining through, it's worth considering for a straightforward, enjoyable stay – just keep those little downsides in mind so you're prepared.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly, helpful, and quick to sort out any issues, making you feel right at home.
-
Rooms are spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, with comfy beds that lead to a great night's sleep and all the essentials like free Wi-Fi and a powerful shower.
-
Free on-site parking is a real bonus, especially when you're out exploring places like Cleethorpes Beach or the nearby parks.
-
Breakfast is spot on, with good options that set you up nicely for the day, and the location's just a short drive from the seaside.
-
They've got accessible rooms and are understanding of different needs, which is thoughtful and makes for a welcoming stay.
Cons
-
The outdoor areas, like the car park, could use some attention with weeds and overgrown plants making it look a bit neglected.
-
Bins outside are often overflowing, which isn't the nicest first impression when you're arriving.
-
Restaurant service can feel a tad rushed since the staff are juggling reception and food duties, so it might not be as relaxed as you'd hope.
-
Some rooms might have issues, like beds that are a bit high or no showers available, which could be tricky for shorter folks or those with specific needs.
-
Overall maintenance seems to lag in places, so it's not quite as polished as it could be in spots.

Staff are very helpful and smart, gave us a warm welcome and sorted out any problems. It was so nice we booked a extra night could not fault the hotel. Thinking of going back to the hotel for veterans week.
There is a Big Car park but it is full of weeds and the plants outside the hotel need cutting back along with all the weeds growing in the footpaths. The Bins outside the hotel are all overflowing . If you like fast food there are lots of places to pick from nearby. The Bus stops are not too far away.
Stayed here last night for one night with my wife.
The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Had an excellent night sleep.
Just be cautious about using their "on-site" restaurant. The staff are expected to man the check-in desk and then rush across to the restaurant to take orders at the same time - essentially, they are expected to split themselves in two!
There was also a massive stench of weed from the middle floor during the night. Not sure if this is a usual thing.
Will definitely return.
Friendly staff, understanding of my disability needs, the only thing is they didn't have any rooms with showers left, so ended up washing in the wash basin.
Room was very clean and tidy.
The bed was too high up for me I am on 4ft 11 but once I was able to get into bed absolutely comfortable.
Cause I only stayed one night I didn't get to try the food.
Disability parking available close to entrance of hotel.
I would definitely recommend staying
Staff here are lovely, Lauren was so helpful when I had left my charger at home! Comfy beds, easy check in and check out. Good breakfast too. Room could have done with a lick of paint otherwise was fine
