About This Pub
Ah, Pitcher & Piano in Nottingham – what a lovely find it is, tucked away in this gorgeous converted church that just oozes character and makes you feel like you're stepping into something truly special. From the moment you walk in, the light and airy bar sets a welcoming tone, perfect for everything from a lazy lunch to lively evening drinks, and the staff are just brilliant, always cheerful and attentive, which really makes the visit memorable. The drinks menu is a winner, with cracking cocktails and great deals that keep things fun and affordable, and don't miss out on their bottomless brunch if you're looking to start the weekend right – it's a proper treat paired with some tasty dishes. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame they don't do a Sunday roast, as that might leave some feeling let down, and there have been a few grumbles about odd smells or confusion with promotions that could spoil the mood. Overall, though, with such a high rating and heaps of positive vibes, it's a solid choice for a get-together; just go in with realistic expectations, and you're in for a great time.

Cons
-
Some folks might be disappointed if they're expecting a traditional Sunday roast, as it's not on the menu.
-
There can be occasional issues like confusion over deals or even a nasty sewage smell in certain spots, which puts a bit of a dampener on things.

The food is solid but not always the star of the show – a few have mentioned it's more about the drinks than the dishes.
-
It might get a tad pricey for what you get, especially if you're after something more budget-friendly.

Was just stunned with this restaurant as they renovated the church into such amazing venue for dine and drink. We went here for lunch on Sunday and I expected that they would have sunday roast but they didnt have it. We served by Emily which was lovely and very helpful. I ordered fish and chips which I expected more because it could be improved related to its batter or its seasoning. Hence, the experience was amazing here

Stunning venue, delicious food and such friendly and welcoming staff! Tia, our server, was so lovely, we would definitely come again☺️
There was a bit of confusion over the restaurant week deal but we sorted it out. There was also a nasty sewage smell on occasion where we were sitting to the left of the entrance. Drinks were great and food was good too. Nice atmosphere, super delightful venue.
Well let’s be honest, you don’t really go here for the food. You go here for the drinks.
We went for a 2-1 cocktail night and the cocktails were in fact really good. They weren’t overly sweet or bitter and they justified the price. However, customers, not all cocktails are 2-1 and only the starred ones on the menu are - that’s only about 7 or 8 really so the selection isn’t massive.
The food wasn’t great and my supposedly medium rare steak was almost well done. The same applied for another steak on a table which was disappointing really. It wasn’t particularly flavour which was a shame for something that cost almost £20.
Toilets are very clean and accessibility is really good. The venue is also gorgeous and would recommend as a first experience. The staff was very friendly and made sure we felt ‘well served’ so thank you for their hard work.
I recommend the negroni.
We had our brunch there, and prices, food quality, and portions were normal. Lish took our orders quickly, and she was polite and professional. We will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nottingham as it is a unique experiencing dining in a converted church
