About This Pub
So, chatting about Parkies Steel Town Bar, it's got this really cosy charm that makes it stand out in Scunthorpe – think friendly faces behind the bar and a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with mates or sorting out a special event. From the reviews, folks rave about the owners' hospitality, the solid beer choices, and those live bands that really liven things up, plus the prices won't leave you out of pocket. It's spot on for hiring out for parties, with comfortable spaces and a good spread of grub that keeps everyone happy. On the downside, though, it's only open a few evenings a week, which means you might have to plan ahead rather than popping in on a whim, and it seems a bit quiet lately with no fresh reviews to speak of. All in all, if you're after a reliable spot for a relaxed night or an occasion, it's worth a go, but do check those opening times first to avoid disappointment.

Great place for a venue. Owners are great and they put on a good spread.
Such a comfy place to have your occasion. I would highly recommend.
Lovely venue, staff very friendly and drink prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend for any private event.
Great beer, good live bands and a lovely atmosphere. We hired Parkies out next door and it's ideal if you have an event or party and want something extra special!
This pub is named after my family, who ancestors built Frodingham long before it was absorbed by Scunthorpe. Many of the road names are those of my ancestors. My name is Dean Parkinson. Shortly after building Frodingham the family ran short of money and the town was never completed remaining a hamlet until its absorbtion. Its fantastic that the family name remains with this wonderful pub and all its personal history for me.
Last Saturday we held a wonderful party at the parkinson arms, the staff could not have been more helpful and i would recomment the venue to anyone.we were accomadated after only one weeks notice.they also have 2 apartments which are above the venue which we hired for guests.
