About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Parkfield Central Bar – it's one of those places in Wolverhampton that just hits the spot for a laid-back evening out. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this really welcoming feel to it; folks keep raving about how the staff make you feel at ease, and the atmosphere is spot on for families or just catching up with mates. The food is a standout – think tasty dishes with a great selection, especially if you're after vegetarian options, and it's all at prices that won't break the bank. We've heard it's perfect for watching the footie or cricket, which adds a nice touch for sports fans. On the flip side, it's not all perfect; one person mentioned walking in and it feeling a bit off-putting when the place was empty and the staff were just staring, so it might not always have that buzzing energy you're after, especially if you pop in early. Overall, though, with a solid 4.6 rating from heaps of reviews, it's clear this bar does a lot right and is worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Cons

Based on one experience, it didn't quite hit the mark for everyone, like when it felt unwelcoming early in the day.

Superb place. Been going for years. Always welcoming. Food is great and well priced. Always leave feeling you've had great value, great food, great drinks. Cham is always very welcoming and provides a safe, family friendly atmosphere.
Service was excellent and food was out in no time.
Very good selection of dishes, especially vegetarian ones.
Walked in just after 4pm with my partner for some lunch. The pub had a daunt feeling to it when we walked in as there were only 2 people there before us and the bar tenders were just staring at us. My partner went to the toilet and I walked through to the restirant side. Cricket was playing and I leaned on the table watching as I waited for my girl. Bartender walked over to me and said can you not sit on the table? I said ok. After around 10 Minutes we decided to order drinks as I approached the bar and ordered the drinks he said can you remove your baseball cap. Even though my hat was turned backwards and was with my partner, it seemed weird. Even more weird because someone was already in there with a baseball cap, which I took a picture of when I was leaving don’t think I’ll be coming back.
First time going here friends recommended and we will deffently be going back food was spot on reasonable prices nice atmosphere in all great place mixed grill was unreal.
Lovely food, friendly service and good value for money. Decent place to watch the football as well 👍
