About This Pub
Ah, O'Sheas Irish Bar – it's one of those places in Manchester that just hits the spot for a relaxed evening out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the Guinness is always top-notch, poured just right, and they've got a real knack for showing GAA matches, which is a winner if you're cheering for the teams like I know some folks do. The staff come across as genuinely welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy without being overwhelming, making it easy to settle in with friends or even on your own. The food doesn't disappoint either; fresh-cooked dishes like the beef pie and burgers get rave reviews, and those little extras like Tayto crisps add a fun, authentic Irish twist. On the flip side, you'll need to head to the bar for your orders, which might leave you sorting out refills yourself and could feel a tad inconvenient during a busy night. And if the weather's playing up, getting there might not be the easiest, but once you're inside, it's all worth it. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone after a bit of Irish charm in the city – I'd say give it a go if you're in the mood for good drinks, decent grub, and a welcoming crowd, but just keep those minor niggles in mind for a smoother visit.

Unlike most venues in Manchester they actually show all the GAA matches. As my wife is a huge Dublin fan- this is great news 🙌🇮🇪 ⚽️ Also the Guinness is great and the Tayto crisps are tasty. What more could you want? 😜
Took the scenic route, as opposed to down the side of the theatre and turn right. Not generally an issue, but it was very wet.
Door staff polite. Bar staff busy but great.
Live act was fantastic. (24th may)
Only issue was, damn did I pay for such a great end to an evening the next day at work.......
Clean, friendly, welcoming. Great pint of Guinness, wonderful service. Food cooked fresh to order. A good mix of people and a nice ambience. Really enjoyed it. A nice, not too fussy menu. Will definitely return more often x
All around great time, we are from the US so it was odd that we had to go up to the bar to order food and drink but it was delivered to the table. The Beef pie was good and the burger was great! One knock was due to us going up we never got another round of drinks.
Got recommended this pub by a nice lady and as it’s my first time in Manchester it couldn’t have been more ideal. Lovely and cozy, nice music and phenomenal food. Couldn’t have been better, recommend to anyone 👍
