About This Pub

You know, when I popped into Orisha Belfast, I have to say it really hit the spot for a proper cocktail experience. The drinks are just fantastic; they're freshly crafted with a good measure of spirit, and the team there can mix up whatever you're in the mood for, like that rum-based espresso martini that one chap raved about. It's clear from the buzz around the place that folks love the friendly staff – they're always up for a chat and make you feel right at ease, which is just what you want after a long day. The atmosphere is spot on too, all cosy and relaxed, even if it's not the biggest spot in Belfast, so it's great for a quiet drink or catching up with mates. On the flip side, if you're more of a beer person, you might find the selection a tad limited with only a couple of drafts on offer, and being walk-ins only, it can be a bit of a gamble getting in on a busy evening. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for cocktail enthusiasts, with that high rating speaking volumes about what they do well – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area, but maybe plan around the crowds for the best experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The cocktails are absolutely brilliant – freshly made with a generous pour of alcohol, and they can whip up just about anything you fancy.
  • The staff are so friendly and welcoming; they really make you feel at home with their top-notch service and chatty demeanour.
  • It's got a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed catch-up or a chilled evening out in the city centre.
  • They're open every day from midday until the early hours, making it super convenient for a spontaneous visit.
Cons
  • The place is on the small side, so it can get a bit cosy and packed during busier times, which might not suit everyone.
  • If you're after a pint, options are limited with only two kinds of draft beers available, so it's more geared towards cocktail lovers.
  • It's walk-ins only with no bookings, which means you might have to queue or miss out if it's heaving on a Friday night.

Best cocktail bar we found in Belfast and typically right at the end of stay. Lovely friendly staff. Cocktails are freshly made and contain a very decent amount of alcohol. They can pretty much make what you want. A very good rum based espresso martini.

Outstanding service, very friendly (and cool) staff. There is an excellent selection of cocktails, priced very fairly. We went back before the end of our trip to Belfast as it was easily one of the best spots we visited.

One of my favourite spots in Belfast. Not a large place but good atmosphere and cocktails among the best in the city. Bar staff great as well.

Quite a cool pub with nice people. Not the place to drink draft beers, they got only two kinds, but they serve amazing cocktails
