About This Pub
Ah, One Green Bottle – what a lovely find it is, tucked away in the midst of Battlesbridge's antiques scene. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its top-notch selection of real ales and ciders; it's like a treasure trove for anyone who appreciates a well-kept pint. The staff come across as genuinely warm and chatty, always ready to recommend something new or just have a natter, which adds to that welcoming vibe. Prices are spot on too, making it an easy choice for a casual get-together without worrying about the cost. And let's not forget the atmosphere – it's so peaceful, with no blaring music or telly in sight, just a chance to relax and soak in the quirky surroundings. On the other hand, it's not without its drawbacks; the food is pretty basic, mostly just rolls and the like, so if you're hoping for a hearty bite, you might need to look elsewhere. Being a micro pub, it can get a bit snug when it's busy, and the lack of clear opening times might leave you hanging if you're not careful. All in all, though, it's a solid spot for fellow pub goers who fancy a quality drink in a unique setting – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but keep those expectations balanced for the full picture.

The overall site seems to have variable opening times, so you might turn up and find it not quite ready yet

Superb, one of the best real ale pubs I have been to. Good selection, friendly staff, good prices
Good selection of 4 cask ales. Superbly kept and perfectly served. Couldn't ask for better. Thank you
We stumbled across One Green Bottle, a quirky pub in the middle of a collection of antique shops. Small but very nice selection of craft beers and ciders, other options also available. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Live music (on the last Saturday of the month) was fantastic. We'll definitely be coming back soon!
Quirky micro pub in a quirkier location; in the middle of the antiques markets. Selling a great range of real ales, straight from the barrels out back. Staff are really friendly and prices are reasonable. Had a good pint of well-kept Broadside.
Food choices are primarily cheese or ham rolls, packaged small cakes etc., but plenty of other food stalls nearby. Great little place for a refreshing pint.
Quaint bar in an unusual surrounding selling amazing range of beers and ciders I've never heard of! You must try if in the area! Bikers welcome and often meet here. You've got to try some of these unusual beverages!!!! 5 stars for choice, and good friendly service, and reasonable prices!
