About This Pub

You know, I've got to say, Old Tom Pub really hits the spot if you're after that cosy English pub feel with a twist of something special – like their brilliant Thai dishes that folks rave about. The food is spot on, with curries and other bites that pack a punch of flavour, and the team behind the bar are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after. It's a cracking place to pop in for a drink or a meal with mates, especially in the heart of Oxford where you can soak up that historic charm. On the downside, a few people have mentioned the spice ratings aren't always spot on, so you might want to double-check that to avoid any surprises, but overall, it's a solid choice that leaves you with a smile.

This is a great place. Food and beer very nice, but the staff friendliness made it even more special. What made it stand out from other nearby pubs was the delicious and interesting (Thai) food. Def going back.

Really nice food and fast service. My only comment would be the spice ratings on dishes are slightly inconsistent. Both these dishes were rated as ** meaning spicy however one was hot and one was not spicy at all! Ask the waiter when ordering.

I had the chicken wings and crispy pork belly at the Old Tom pub in Oxford and they were both fantastic. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked, with crispy skin and juicy meat. The sauce was tangy and sweet, and the wings were coated in just the right amount of it. The crispy pork belly was also delicious. The skin was crackling and the meat was tender and flavorful. I would definitely recommend both of these dishes to anyone looking for a great meal at the Old Tom pub. In addition to the food, the service at the Old Tom pub was also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere in the pub was also great. It was warm and inviting, and we felt very welcome. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Old Tom pub and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat and drink in Oxford
