About This Pub
Oh, you know, if you're in Scarborough and fancy a proper pub experience, the North Riding Brew Pub is just the ticket – it's got this genuine, homely feel that's hard to beat. Their beers are truly something special, all crafted with real care and passion, and at prices that make you wonder why everywhere else charges more. The staff are dead friendly, and the locals often join in the craic, making it feel like you're catching up with old mates rather than just popping in for a drink. It's nicely tucked away near the beach and parks, so it's perfect for a relaxed afternoon or evening unwind. That said, it's worth noting there's no Wi-Fi, which might catch you out if you're relying on your phone for maps or messages, but honestly, it's a great excuse to switch off and enjoy the moment. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone who appreciates a good pint and a bit of banter, with its cosy fire in winter and those Thursday quiz nights adding an extra sprinkle of fun – just go with an open mind and you'll have a whale of a time.

Really good beer, good prices too. No Wi-Fi (I needed it, as I was on a foreign SIM. Not a criticism, but just so you know.)
Had a mini break in Scarborough on a coach tour, and being a real ale fan I looked for a good pub. I certainly found one. The beer was exceptional and not only were the bar staff friendly the locals also made us feel so welcome. We have been several times and couldn't recommend this pub higher. If you're in Scarborough and want a great pint, look no further. On our first visit K2 was lovely behind the bar.
Lovely local, top brews, clean and tidy, would recommend
The Peasholm Pale is excellent and the Irish Cream Porter is divine, with less than £4 a pint. What is not to like.
Glad we found this place. Absolutely love the North Riding beers! Closer / shorter walk from town along the main road rather than following the coast line round. Good friendly atmosphere in the pub.
