About This Pub
You know, when I think about Newhaven Quay Brewers Fayre, it's got that cosy pub vibe that's just right for a laid-back catch-up with friends or family in Edinburgh. The staff are absolute gems, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to the warm atmosphere. Plus, those £5 lunch deals are a proper treat – you can tuck into some tasty new dishes without spending a fortune, and it's spot on if you're after something simple and satisfying. The indoor play area is a lifesaver if you've got kids in tow, letting the adults enjoy a breather while the youngsters have a blast. Oh, and the views from the windows are rather nice, giving you a bit of that scenic Edinburgh charm. On the other hand, it's not all perfect; I've heard a few grumbles about the food not always being up to scratch, like those canned peas that feel a tad out of place in a fresh meal, or portions that leave you wanting just a little more. Still, for what it is, it's a solid choice for a casual meal, especially if you pop in during the week for one of those deals – just keep your expectations in check and you'll likely have a grand time.

Just a pub with horrible food. Witnessed more than one person complaining about the food. Peas are fresh straight out of a can and must sit outside for a while before being put on the plate. 8oz steak is really half size 8oz. The picture is allegedly salt & pepper calamari. The didn’t say that the dog chews it before you get it and have to pay about £7 for the privilege.
Really friendly staff, food was exactly what I expected and wanted, did what it said on the tin, no surprises, very enjoyable lunch
Super nice staff and affordable prices! I didn’t expect the food was this nice! Love every dish we ordered, had a wonderful time here🥰🥰
