About This Pub

You know, chatting about Mr Inman's Beer Emporium in Morley, it's clear this place has a lot going for it if you're into your beers. From what I've seen in the reviews, folks absolutely love the selection – it's got some really solid craft options that make it stand out in the local scene, even if it's not quite as bold as when it first opened. The staff sound like absolute stars, always cheerful and ready to help you navigate the choices, which adds such a nice touch to the experience. And if you're planning a wee get-together, the upstairs area is spot on for private functions, with one group raving about their charcuterie boards paired with the drinks – it all comes together brilliantly. But, it's a bit gutting to hear it's closed at the moment; one reviewer was pleading for an update on when it'll reopen, and that uncertainty could put a dampener on things. Plus, the beer lineup has toned down a tad, swapping out some of the more unique taps for everyday options, which might disappoint if you're after something truly special. Overall, though, if it gets back on its feet, it's definitely worth keeping an eye on for a proper pint in Leeds – just be prepared for a cosy, intimate vibe that might not suit larger crowds.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The beer selection is absolutely brilliant, with a great range of craft options that really hit the spot for any ale enthusiast.
  • The staff are so friendly and helpful, always up for a chat and guiding you through the choices to find the perfect drink.
  • It's a cosy little spot, perfect for private functions or get-togethers upstairs, making it ideal for special occasions.
  • Everyone raves about the welcoming atmosphere and the excellent service, which makes you feel right at home.
Cons
  • It's currently closed, which is a real shame as it leaves you wondering when it'll be back up and running.
  • The beer variety isn't as adventurous as it once was, with some mainstream options like macro lagers taking over from the more exciting craft taps.
  • There's no website or clear operating hours listed, so it's tricky to keep track of when you might pop in.
  • Being such a small venue, it could feel a bit cramped if it gets busy, limiting the space for a relaxed evening.

Marking it a 5 because of the memories. Why are you closed, and when are you opening back up? Great little bar!

Favourite spot at Morley Bottoms. Selection of beer is pretty good for Morley, although not as adventurous as when it opened last year, sadly. The taps were all craft beer originally, but now some have been replaced - two macro lagers, wine on tap and often a cider. But the beers you do get are excellent and well kept, plus a great fridge-full of cans and bottles. A variety of bar snacks, friendly service, a dogs menu of gourmet treats, board games, a great playlist, plus regular whisky club and film nights. Love it.

Had a private function in the upstairs part of the bar! The staff were really accommodating and the Charcuterie Boards we order were perfect for the amazing selection of beers, gins and wine. Every single one of us loved it and we will definitely book again!!!

Couldn’t leave Morley without calling at this Untappd Verified Venue. So small but there is another room upstairs. Only the one cask but some great beers on tap. Service was excellent 👍🏻

This is a new edition to the Morley Bottoms beer scene and what an edition it is. The bar stocks an excellent choice of kegs beers but there are also bottles and cans available, also wines and spirits. The staff are very helpful and very cheerful and willing to chat, and if unsure walk you through the beers on offer. All in all a very enjoyable experience and without doubt i will be going back for some more omnipollo, if they still have it on.
