About This Pub

You know, chatting about Bottle & Tap, it's one of those unassuming places in Leeds that just hits the mark for a casual get-together. From what folks are saying, the atmosphere is spot on – light and airy with loads of room to spread out and actually enjoy a proper conversation, which is a rarity these days. The staff come across as dead friendly and always ready with a smile, and they've got a solid range of beers at prices that won't break the bank. It's kept sparkling clean too, with handy separate toilets and a nod to being Covid compliant, so you can relax without a worry. On the flip side, it's a bit quiet on the review front lately, and without a website, sorting out when they're open can be a faff. Still, if you're in the area and fancy a pint in a comfortable setting, it's well worth seeking out – just pop by and see for yourself, as it sounds like a real gem for a laid-back evening.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is just brilliant – it's light, airy, and makes you feel right at home for a good chat over drinks.
  • Staff are incredibly friendly and approachable, always up for a laugh and making sure everyone feels welcome.
  • Plenty of seats and it's never too crowded, so you can actually have a proper conversation without shouting over the noise.
  • They've got a great selection of beers on tap at fair prices, and it's all kept clean and tidy, which is a real treat.
  • Separate toilets are a nice touch, and they've been on top of things like being Covid compliant, which gives peace of mind.
Cons
  • There haven't been many recent reviews, so it might be a bit quiet or even temporarily closed – best to double-check before heading out.
  • No website or online details makes it tricky to find out opening times, which could leave you hanging if you're planning a visit.
  • As a wine bar, I was hoping for more focus on wines, but the chats are mostly about beers, so it might not hit the spot for wine enthusiasts.
