This is a fabulous family pub offering affordable, lovely, pub meals. We recently held my sister's 60 birthday celebrations there, knowing that we'd have a wonderful time. All 20 guests commented positively on the venue and the kids loved the outdoor activities. The atmosphere was jovial, and Andy was the perfect host....my 87 year old mom loves this place so much because she always gets lots of attention from the proprietors. If I could rate this place 10, I would without any hesitation.
The siting of the table wasn’t great, being sandwiched between the toilet door and the staff access door to behind the bar. The wait time was really quite long - 45 mins for mains, and approx. 25 mins for a simple chocolate fudge cake (I had to ask a waiter for an update on both before they hurriedly rushed them out). Quality of food wasn’t good either, sadly. Really quite dry and not much flavour. Thankfully, I went due to the 30% off discount offer so didn’t pay much for them.
On the positive side, it was easy to park and the staff were friendly when I spoke to them.

On arrival we were greeted and seated straight away. The bar staff ordering our food and drinks were helpful and quick.
The food came out all at once for 6 people
Starters and mains. Everyone in my group was happy with their food. It's the best pub meal I have had for a while.
We will definitely be returning.
