About This Pub
Ah, Mollinsburn Inn – it's one of those hidden gems you stumble upon and think, 'Why didn't I know about this sooner?' From the reviews, it sounds like a proper cosy spot, ideal for a relaxed pint or catching up with friends, and it really shines on lively days like St Patrick's when the energy is just buzzing. The staff get a massive thumbs up for being so friendly and attentive, making sure you're looked after without any fuss. I love how they've got that clever setup with two areas – one side's great if you're up for a chat, and the other has the telly on for the footie, so there's something for everyone. Prices are fair, and it's clear they keep the place tidy, right down to the sparkling clean loos. On the flip side, it's a tad frustrating not having the opening times handy, and being a smaller venue, it might not suit if you're after something bigger or more high-profile. Still, with such glowing feedback, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just give it a go and see for yourself; you might end up making it your new local!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely lovely and cosy, making it a perfect spot even on quieter days, and it really comes alive for events like St Patrick's Day.
-
Staff are incredibly friendly and provide great service, always making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
-
It's a small, intimate pub with a smart layout – two separate areas, one for chatting with mates and another with a TV for catching the football.
-
Prices are reasonable, and the facilities, like the toilets, are kept spotlessly clean, which is always a bonus.
Cons
-
There are no operating hours listed anywhere, which could make it tricky to plan a visit and avoid any disappointment if it's unexpectedly shut.
-
As a small pub, it might feel a bit cramped if it gets busy, and it's not the easiest to find online since there's no website or much of an online presence.
-
With only a handful of reviews, it doesn't seem to be on everyone's radar yet, so you might not know what to expect until you pop in.

Even on a quiet day, it's a lovely cosy atmosphere. Totally banging on St Patrick's day too.
Very friendly great staff
Really nice small pub. Two areas separated by a bar. The one on the right as you enter seemed to be the busiest of the two and had a TV showing football. The left hand lounge is probably better if you’re looking to have a conversation with friends. Prices were reasonable and the toilets were spotless.
Great small intimate bar and lovely lounge..Great service.
