About This Pub
Ah, Magic Dragon Brewery Tap – what a delightful find in Wrexham! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its excellent range of locally brewed beers that have left quite a few people chuffed. The staff are just lovely, offering that friendly, efficient service that makes you feel like you're catching up with old mates rather than just popping in for a pint. There's often good music playing or even live events to liven things up, and the fact you can bring in your own grub from nearby spots is a real bonus for a laid-back night. On the flip side, though, the website's a bit of a letdown with some access issues, and the opening times seem confusing at first glance, so you'd want to confirm those to make sure you're not caught out. All in all, it's got that high rating for a reason – mostly positives with a few minor niggles – so if you're after a solid pub experience, I'd say give it a go and see what all the fuss is about.

Great little bar. Excellent locally brewed beers, friendly service and good music playing too.
My wife and I always seek out local beers whilst traveling, so we naturally landed at this place during a visit to see a friend in town.
Wow we were not disappointed! Starting off with a great selection of very well made beers, but also fast friendly bar service, and a room full of friendly and chatty locals too. Perfect for a traveling couple!
We loved our time in Wrexham, but our experience here is always mentioned as a highlight.
They allow you to bring in outside food, so we grabbed fish and chips nearby so we could keep drinking and conversing with our new friends.
Can’t wait to come back!
Our first visit to Wrexham. Decided to try out the beer in this pub as it was listed in our Good Beer Guide. We weren't disappointed. Friendly staff and good service.
Tap house for a local Brewery based in Eyam on my 2 visits the beers consisted mainly of their own Cask and craft beers on rotation. There was live music on one night over the coming weekends. Ales were diverse and people were allowed to bring in their own food takeaways
On the way walking home it was the fresh aroma coming from the open front door that attracted me.
I was greeted by a friendly Irish lady and had a lovely relaxing pint. It's been extended since my last visit since March 2020 so plenty of room now. Definitely a place to visit again 😀
