About This Pub

So, I've been having a look at Levant Kitchen & Bar in Wrexham, and it's honestly one of those places that just feels right for a relaxed evening out. The food is a real highlight – think fresh, tongue-tingling flavours and clever presentation that makes every bite feel special, whether it's a generous fish platter or a solid cluck burger. The team there are absolute gems, always polite and quick to sort you out, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Prices are spot on too, especially for those fab cocktails that won't dent your wallet, and it's got this lively buzz that's perfect if you're meeting up with mates or just winding down after a long day. On the flip side, it's not flawless; a few folks have noted that while the starters are brilliant, some mains can be a mixed bag – enjoyable but not always exceptional – and you might find yourself wishing for a bit more on the plate with certain dishes. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night, and I'd reckon it's worth popping in for the positives, just keep those expectations balanced for the full picture.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely delicious, with fantastic flavours and presentation that really make your taste buds sing.
  • Staff are super friendly and attentive, always making you feel welcome and looked after.
  • Great value for money, especially with cocktails coming in under a tenner – perfect for a cheeky night out.
  • The atmosphere is buzzing and lively, ideal for catching up with friends over a meal.
  • They handle dietary needs brilliantly, like gluten-free options, so everyone's catered for without fuss.
Cons
  • Some dishes can be a bit hit or miss – while starters shine, a few mains might just be okay rather than outstanding.
  • Portions on certain items, like the calamari, could do with being a tad more generous to leave you fully satisfied.

The place was buzzing last night and what an atmosphere. The staff as always were very polite and courteous and took our order after letting us settle. When the food came out it was amazing and even one of the party I was with who needs gluten free options (Coelliac) said that the chicken was fantastic. Hats off to team Levant for a great night.

Went to Levant Kitchen&bar today to catch up with my friend. We had a lovely generous fish platter to start then mains to follow. Fresh tasty food, staff were assertive, very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place. We will be back soon, thank you. 🤩

Service was great, very attentive and quick. Food was a mixed bag of very enjoyable to mediocre. Nibbles and starters were really good, calamari was real good, although a few more pieces would have been good. Mains were enjoyed by most. Cluck burger 👍🏼, our teenage son smashed this. The hanging kebabs (chicken & lamb) were a good size and one was modded to gluten free 👍🏼, Linguine looked good and was enjoyed 👍🏼, Chilli pork chop and beans was not so good, chop overcooked and the beans were a bit murgh, needed less beans and more liquid 👎🏼, kids build your own when we asked if grilled chicken were told yes, came out as chopped up nuggets 👎🏼. Desert received the seal of approval, a huge piece of sticky toffee pudding and custard 👍🏼👍🏼. Venue itself could do with an update, seems it's been like this for some time, so a refresh, with some more contemporary decor would take it up a level. Thanks 😊
