About This Pub
Ah, the Lincoln Arms in Spalding – what a treat it is when you find a spot like this that just clicks. From what I've gathered from folks who've been there, it's got this warm, homely feel where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, like you're part of the gang from the get-go. The atmosphere is spot on for unwinding, whether you're propping up the bar for a natter or joining in on the darts, karaoke, or quiz nights – it's got that lively yet cosy energy that keeps you coming back. The beer and drinks are reliably good, and the place is nice and clean, which makes it even more appealing for a casual meet-up. On the flip side, though, it can be a bit frustrating if it's closed when you fancy a visit, as timings aren't always straightforward, and if you're not in the area, it might take a bit of effort to get there. Prices are moderate, so it's worth keeping in mind if you're watching the pennies. All in all, it's a solid choice for a proper pub experience – I'd say give it a go if you're nearby, as the positives really shine through and make for some memorable times.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in – it's like chatting with old mates behind the bar.
-
They've got a cracking atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with a pint, and it's got that proper local vibe with events like darts, karaoke, and quiz nights to keep things lively.
-
The beer selection is spot on, with good quality options that hit the mark, and the pub itself is clean and well-kept, which always makes for a more enjoyable visit.
-
It's a great spot for both locals and visitors, with a beer garden that's ideal for sunnier days, adding a nice outdoor touch to the experience.
Cons
-
It seems to have some inconsistent opening times or might be closed at certain points, which could put a dampener on spontaneous plans if you're popping by unexpectedly.
-
Being in Spalding, it might not be the easiest to get to if you're not local, and with moderate prices, it could feel a tad pricey for a quick drink on a tight budget.

Such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, propped up at the bar speaking to gents who really take a lot of of pride in Spalding. I'm definitely making an effort to visit here again, definitely bringing friends along also!
For forces Veterans and especially Para's, do check this place out, quite speechless at the history they have here for our armed forces and as an armed forces veteran myself, had me beaming with pride.
