About This Pub
Ah, Last Pub Standing – it's one of those places in Norwich that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From the reviews I've had a look at, folks are raving about the food; those burgers come highly recommended, and they're bang on for value, making it ideal for a quick lunch or a full evening out. The service stands out too – the staff are genuinely welcoming, with that personal touch that makes you want to come back. The garden area's a real highlight, especially on a sunny afternoon, giving you space to relax without feeling cramped, and they've got a great lineup of events and live music that keeps the vibe lively. Oh, and I love how they've incorporated a bit of history into the decor; it's a nice nod to the past that adds character. But it's not all perfect – the website's a bit ropey at the moment, which could make planning your visit a bit of a faff, and the opening times aren't the clearest, so you might need to confirm before heading over. Still, with mostly glowing feedback and a strong average rating, it's a brilliant choice for anyone after a good night out or a casual catch-up, as long as you go in with realistic expectations.

Cons

The website feels a bit outdated and is currently under maintenance, which might make booking a table or checking details a hassle.

While most visits are fantastic, one review suggested the food and experience were good but not quite outstanding, so it might not wow everyone every time.

Straightforward reservation through the website. Nice interior and the garden area, plenty of room for everyone on the busy Saturday afternoon. Food is good value for the money and service is excellent, especially Sarah, who is so welcoming with her genuine smile! Garden area mostly shaded, we liked the music in the background but garden can get noisy with more people enjoying their time. Great atmosphere throughout, we'll definitely be back.
Amazing burgers, not over done nor over filled. Very tasty & great service. Good mix of people and a nice atmosphere.
Awesome little pub in the heart of Norwich.
Celebrating a bit of history on their walls as well which I personally love to see and enjoy reading.
This was a quick lunch stop with my wife on our break from work and couldn't of been happier with our choice.
A very basic menu served and cooked extremely well had us both feeling very satisfied. Staff were helpful and smiley and good came out in 10 minutes or so.
I had the grilled chicken burger which was covered in cheese and sauce with a delightful hash brown inside. My wife had a rice bowl with some home made fried chicken which had me feeling jealous even though my meal was great. The chips were really nice too and it was nice to not see the standard frozen one that most places seem to serve these days.
All in all very pleasant experience, and seems to have a lot of events going as well and we may be back for the comedy night later this month.
Good pub menu and well stocked bar with real ales too. The event calendar is full! We walked in to a Jan session on a Monday evening led by Lee Vasey.
Have been in a few times over the last couple of months, mainly for music and a few beers. Large outdoor seating area where they held music/ bands. Ale selection is good, staff are friendly. Tried the food for the first time on Thursday, had burger and dirty fries. Service was quick and quality was very decent at a very reasonable price. All food was lovely and fresh. Noticed they also served several takeaways while we were there. Will definitely be taking advantage of this in the future when unable to get to the pub in person.
