About This Pub
Ah, Lancaster Brewery – what a lovely spot it is, isn't it? I've got to say, it's one of those places that really stands out for its excellent beers; they're brewed right there on site, and there's something so satisfying about sipping on a fresh pint while chatting away. The tours are brilliant fun too – our guide was spot on, sharing all sorts of interesting tidbits that made the whole experience feel special, and don't even get me started on the food; those pizzas from Kelly's Kitchen are an absolute delight, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. It's also a top choice if you're organising a wedding or a get-together, with that unique, welcoming vibe that makes everything feel just right. On the flip side, though, I've heard a few mates grumble about the opening hours not always being reliable – it's a bit of a nuisance if you've made the effort to pop over only to find it shut, and it can be quieter than you'd hope, which might not suit if you're after a more energetic crowd. Still, overall, it's a place I'd happily recommend to anyone in the area; just keep an eye on their website beforehand, and you're in for a treat!
Pros and Cons

-
It's a brilliant spot for events and weddings, offering a spacious, quirky venue that's perfect for making memories with a proper beer in hand.
Cons
-
Opening hours can be a bit hit and miss, so it's easy to turn up only to find it closed or different from what's listed, which is a real shame.
-
The place can feel quiet at times, lacking that lively buzz you might expect, so it might not always be the most vibrant spot for a night out.
-
It occasionally shuts for private events, which means you might have to plan around that and miss out if you're not prepared.

Really enjoy the beers and atmosphere of Lancaster brewery. However on the last several occasions of trying to go it has been shut even though the times on Google say they are open!
Opening and Closing times need to be updated and adhered to as very annoying making the trip there only for it to be closed, again!
Went on brewery & distillery tour and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Lizzie who was our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Top marks for the beer and the pizza. Would highly recommend this tour.
It is not an overstatement to say I enjoyed the best pizza of my life here. The beer is also delicious. Kelly and the team are incredibly friendly and lovely to chat with and my 5 year old son loved his pizza too. 100% will return if ever back in the area.
Great beer but quiet. Needs more support from real beer drinker’s.
We held our wedding reception at Lancaster brewery on the 13/04/24 and had around 80 guests.
It was a fabulous day and all our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too.
The venue look stunning all set up, much nice than anticipated.
The staff were all lovely and really helpful.
I also recommend Kelly's catering as her food (Hot mexican feast) was amazing and I received lots of compliments about it.
I would definitely recommend you to book your event here.
(Flower B Florist did my flowers, and my professional photos were taken by Emma Billsbrough photography both highly recommended)
