Only been visiting since renovations, but its a lovely pub with great friendly Staff & a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. There is normally great entertainment at the weekends. There r TV's around the rooms so u don't miss those matches/events! There r Pool & Darts & more seating facilities upstairs. Plus a great Jukebox for the times you want to be your own DJ. Unlike some of the older reviews, more women seem comfortable visiting now too.
Great little pub! The gents is easier to access than the ladies - very rare! There's sports TV here, but not so in-your-face. When it's quiet they chose the volume to suit the current customers.
Bar staff are welcoming, accommodating, and have a can-do attitude. Perfect place to kill a bit of time if you're early for something.
