The decor is absolutely gorgeous, with that classic Victorian feel, dark wood everywhere, and a huge skylight that gives it a warm, inviting glow; it's like stepping back in time while still feeling right at home. Prices are spot on too, not extortionate at all, and if you're into watching the footie or other sports, they've got plenty of screens to keep things buzzing. On the downside, though, there have been a few moans about accessibility – one person had a tough time with a wheelchair because the ramp wasn't on hand when it was needed, which is a bit of a shame. Plus, with just the one toilet cubicle, it could get frustrating on a packed night. And while some of the staff are lovely and helpful, others come across as a tad disinterested, which takes the edge off what could be a top-notch experience.
