About This Pub
Ah, the Little Black Pug Bar – what a little hidden gem in Blackpool! I have to say, stepping inside feels like you've wandered into something special; it's got this brilliant atmosphere with a DJ spinning tunes that had me tapping my feet straight away. The decor is spot on too, with those ornate mirrors and chandeliers adding a touch of elegance, and knowing it was once an old church just makes it all the more intriguing. It's one of those places where you might pop in for one drink and end up staying for hours, chatting away with great company. On the upside, it's super inclusive with wheelchair accessible facilities, which is always a plus when you're out and about. But, let's be honest, it's not perfect – I've heard tales of the service dragging a bit when it gets busy, leaving you queuing up longer than you'd like. And there was that feedback about the DJ being a bit stubborn with requests, which could put a damper on things if the vibe isn't quite hitting the mark. Still, with such high praise from so many, I'd reckon it's well worth a visit if you're in the area for a proper pub night – just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a cracking time.

Good bar with good music...
Three deep at the bar, service slow
But had great company
Great pub, it has a DJ, ornate mirrors and chandeliers, great lighting, great atmosphere, toilets are wheelchair accessible, it was an old church
Only called in for one drink, ended up staying for about 5 😂 there were 3 different Northern Soul DJ's on while we were there, great afternoon had, we will be back 😁
Was in Blackpool, dropped in, and was pleasantly surprised. Great, wee oasis certainly will head back there next time in Blackpool.
DJ rude won't play any song requested today at 3pm on Saturday with bar empty, nobody dancing, no atmosphere. Shame we normally like this bar. Time for these 7 ladies to move on , very disappointed 😞
