About This Pub

Ah, Station Blackpool – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a breath of fresh air when you step inside. Tucked away in the centre of Blackpool, it's got that classic cosy charm that makes you feel right at home, whether you're a regular or just passing through for a quick stop. I love how the place buzzes with energy, full of people chatting and sharing a laugh, creating an inclusive space where everyone seems to get along. The drinks deals are spot on, offering great value without skimping on quality, and if you're into sports, you'll be spoiled with live showings of football, rugby, and more on their screens – it's brilliant for gathering with mates to cheer on the teams. The staff really make it shine too; they're so approachable and quick to help, which adds to the overall warmth. Plus, being dog-friendly is a real winner if you're out with your pup. On the flip side, though, I've got to mention that strict ID policy – it might catch you off guard, like it did for one person who was turned away despite being in their thirties, so it's probably best to have your ID handy to avoid any awkward moments. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxed night out, with more highs than lows, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after that genuine pub feel in Blackpool.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing with a great mix of locals and holidaymakers, always up for a good laugh and making it feel like a proper community hub.
  • Drinks are reasonably priced with some cracking offers, so you won't break the bank while enjoying a pint or two.
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to that warm, homely vibe that makes you want to stick around.
  • They've got live entertainment sorted with things like karaoke and sports screenings on multiple screens, perfect for catching the big games.
  • It's dog-friendly, which is a lovely touch if you're out with your four-legged mate and want a spot that feels inclusive.
Cons
  • There can be strict ID checks, even for those who might look well over the age, which could lead to a bit of frustration if you're not prepared.
  • From what I've heard, it might not suit everyone if you're after something more upscale, as it's a straightforward, no-frills pub experience.

My favourite pub in Blackpool. Great atmosphere with locals and holiday makers alike, always someone having a laugh. Drinks prices are very reasonable too.

Four of us were in Blackpool for the Bank Holiday weekend. We spent a good few hours here on Saturday night. The atmosphere in the pub is great. Everyone was having fun. The 2 ladies who do the karaoke were very entertaining and really good fun. We enjoyed it so much, we returned on Sunday. The bar staff are all lovely. If we lived in Blackpool this would be our go to pub every weekend........ thanks for an entertaining weekend xx

Came to this bar tonight. I was refused a drink because I didn't have I.D. I'm 33 years of age. Having eye wrinkles is normally a giveaway for me, I don't regularly encounter this situation but... I was denied 🤷 I showed the bartender a photo of my passport which made zero difference because she could already clearly see I wasn't 17 or younger, any validation to prove this wouldn't have mattered. The staff, today in this incident, and in my opinion, just wanted to be awkward or feel a sense of power. We went further up the road towards the station after this encounter and ended up having a brilliant night in a more friendly, fun and welcoming bar. Blessing in disguise.
