We come here for the Comedy which is always good. As a pub we have only had drinks, the staff are really great, it's always busy. The pizzas looked amazing but we didn't have time to eat. Maybe next time. Like the Terminator I'll be back.
Great bar, with super friendly staff who looked after us all evening. Pizza was delicious along with the limoncello spritzers.
If I could give 0 star I would, I came the other day with my friend, he used to work here so we thought we're going to be respected, he ordered two sides of wings and two beers. We were just trying to have a good time in holiday season. Nothing like that ever happened. The bartenders were rude and kept looking at us inappropriately, by the time the wings were served they were disgusting, undercooked, slimy. Paid around 6£ for a side of wings each and what we got was absolute failure. This is a disgrace to Bedminster and a disgrace to Bristol city overall. Other than people being drunk and not caring about what they're doing, this is an absolute disgrace. The manager eventually said to his ex employee that he believes he had too much to drink. This should be unacceptable in any regards. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
We hosted our engagement party in the chicken shed function room at Hen & Chicken. They were so accommodating and lovely from start to finish. The food was amazing - we had so many compliments on the pizza buffet. It was everything we wanted for our venue!
Definitely recommend!
