About This Pub
Ah, Greenwood – it's one of those places that really hits the mark for a good night out in the heart of London. From what I've gathered from the chatter, the food and drinks are a real highlight; think delicious meals and cracking beverages that leave you satisfied and coming back for more. The staff stand out too – they're proper welcoming, with folks like Emily and Michelle getting glowing mentions for their top-notch service and warm chats that make you feel right at home. It's got that lively sports bar feel, all bright and buzzing, ideal if you're up for watching the match with a pint in hand. And that QR code system? It's a neat little perk that makes ordering a breeze. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect – there was that one tale of woe with reservations going awry, where someone waited ages for their spot while others got seated first, which could put a dampener on things if you're planning ahead. Overall, though, with such a solid rating, it's worth a visit for a laugh and some good grub, just maybe double-check your booking to avoid any surprises. You'd probably have a whale of a time, as long as you go in with the right expectations!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food and drinks are absolutely spot on – plenty of folks rave about how tasty everything is, making it a top choice for a proper meal out.
-
The staff are brilliant; servers like Emily and Michelle go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and looked after, which really adds to the fun.
-
It's got a lively, bright atmosphere that's perfect for catching sports on the telly, with a great buzz that keeps things energetic without being overwhelming.
-
The QR code ordering system is a clever touch – it's smooth and efficient, so you can get your round in without any faff.
Cons
-
There can be some hitches with reservations and seating; one person had a right nightmare waiting for their table while others jumped the queue, which is a bit frustrating.
-
Service isn't always consistent, as that one bad experience shows it might not be smooth sailing every time you pop in.

Had a great time the other evening. Food & drinks were awesome. Emily was amazing, she took really good care of us, and was so welcoming. Would come back just to see her again!
Had the absolute pleasure of dining here with my gorgeous and charming friend, Kimberly — truly the star of the evening! ✨ The food was fantastic, but honestly, nothing on the menu could compete with her radiant smile and effortless style. She lit up the whole restaurant with her presence, turning heads and making everyone wonder who that stunning woman was.
The ambiance matched her vibe: elegant, warm, and a little bit flirty — just perfect. From the first toast to the last bite, it was an unforgettable night.
If you’re lucky enough to dine with someone as fabulous as Kimberly, trust me, the experience becomes ten times more special.
♥️
I had a very upsetting experience at this place. We made a reservation a day in advance and arrived 30 minutes early, yet we were not given our table. Meanwhile, at least three other groups who arrived after us were seated before us.
The person at the reception — I believe his name was Markem, though I’m not 100% sure — claimed to be the only manager, but we later found out that wasn’t true. Instead of a proper table, he gave us a few chairs without any explanation. His behavior was rude, dismissive, and dishonest.
Sadly, it felt like we were being treated unfairly because we are Muslims. I do not recommend this place at all. It appears to be discriminatory and unwelcoming towards Muslims.
Greenwood Bar is an absolute gem in Victoria, and a big part of that is thanks to Michelle behind the bar. From the moment we walked in, her energy, professionalism, and friendliness set the tone for a great night. She’s incredibly attentive, always making sure everyone’s taken care of without missing a beat. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does — she’s fast, knows her drinks inside out, and somehow manages to make every guest feel like a regular. It’s rare to come across someone so service-minded and personable. Michelle is a huge asset to the Greenwood team — she truly elevates the whole experience. Can’t wait to come back!
A great lively and well lit and bright sports bar that was better than expected.
Loud tv’s with racing and sports being played and yet it was a good setting with a lovely atmosphere and nice food and drinks.
The qr code to order system worked really well and tasty food along with option of a local ale.
