You know, I had a lovely time at the Grant Arms the other week, and it's just what you'd hope for in a traditional pub – that real sense of community where everyone feels welcome. The staff are absolute gems, always up for a chat and making sure you're sorted with your drinks. They've got some brilliant offers on, so it's easy to settle in with a cold pint and catch the latest match on the telly; it's brilliant for sports fans. Plus, being dog-friendly adds a nice touch if you're out with your four-legged friend. On the downside, it's a shame they don't do any food, so if you're feeling peckish, you might need to plan ahead or head off elsewhere. And honestly, it does get quite busy at times, which can make it feel a bit too warm and cramped, especially on weekends. Still, for a straightforward, affordable night out with good company, it's well worth a visit – just keep those things in mind for a smoother experience.
