About This Pub
Ah, the Gillespie Arms – it's one of those classic pubs that feels like a proper community hub in Comber. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got that warm, inviting feel where you can pop in for a good pint at reasonable prices, and the staff are always up for a chat, making it easy to settle in for the evening. I love how they've got spots to watch the footie or even try out some cocktail deals, and sitting outside on a nice day, just watching the world go by, sounds like a treat. On the flip side, though, there's that off-putting smell near the entrance that a few folks have mentioned, which could really dampen your spirits before you even get through the door. And it does seem like it attracts a more boisterous crowd occasionally, so it might not be the most relaxed spot if you're after something low-key. Overall, it's a solid choice for a night out with mates, but I'd say go in with your eyes open – the good bits definitely outweigh the bad, but it's not without its quirks.

Never actually been in it,but the smell of wee as you walk past is all you need to know really. The local knuckle trailers seem to like it.
