About This Pub
Ah, the Gardeners Arms in Moston – it's one of those pubs that really captures the heart of a neighbourhood, you know? From what I've gathered chatting about it, the staff stand out as absolute gems; they're quick to make you feel at home, whether it's sorting out directions or just having a laugh over a pint. The atmosphere is spot on too – that mix of old-school charm with a bit of modern touch makes it ideal for a relaxed evening or catching up with friends over their top-notch selection of ales and lagers. It's got that community spirit going for it, with live sports and events that bring people together, and perks like being family-friendly and having parking make it dead handy. But, to keep it real, there are a few downsides that've cropped up in conversations; some folks have mentioned issues with how they treat disabled visitors, which is disappointing and could put some off. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a pint in Manchester – just go in with an open mind, and you'll likely have a cracking time, but it's worth keeping those mixed experiences in the back of your head.

As a community hub, it hosts live sports and entertainment, plus it's family-friendly with parking and an events space, so it's versatile for different occasions.
Cons
-
There have been some concerning reports about how the pub handles situations with disabled visitors, which is a real shame and something they'd need to address.

Recent feedback shows a bit of inconsistency, with some experiences falling short of expectations, like the place feeling a tad quiet or not quite hitting the mark for everyone.

Cycling from Bolton today to meet a friend, got to Moston and phone/gps died, had no idea which way to go, none of the local shops would help me …. Went to the Gardeners ….. lovely welcome, lent me a charger, made me a coffee, help with directions to meet my friend. Thankyou so much!! Not sure what I would have done otherwise.
