About This Pub

You know, when you step into the Radclyffe Arms, it's like walking into your favourite local spot where everything just clicks. The staff are proper lovely, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, which really sets the tone for a relaxed evening. It's fantastic for catching the big games on the telly, with a lively crowd that makes you feel part of the action, and they've got a solid selection of beers and tasty pub grub that hits the spot without costing a fortune. The beer garden is a real treat on a sunny day, and it's so family-oriented with that play area for the little ones – plus, it's great for dogs, so you can bring the whole gang. On the other hand, it does tend to get a bit stuffy in the summer if they haven't sorted the heating, and the opening times can be a puzzle, so planning ahead is a good idea. All in all, it's a solid choice for a pint and a catch-up, with that community feel that keeps you coming back.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always serving with a smile which makes you feel right at home.
  • It's a brilliant spot for watching sports, with Sky Sports and TNT coverage that gets everyone cheering together.
  • Prices are spot on for a casual night out – reasonably priced pints and decent pub grub that won't break the bank.
  • Family-friendly vibes with a great-sized beer garden and a children's play area, making it ideal for all ages.
  • Dog-friendly and perfect for events, like christenings or Saturday night entertainment, with plenty of space to enjoy.
Cons
  • It can get a bit too warm inside during the warmer months if the heating isn't turned off, which might make things uncomfortable.
  • The operating hours seem a tad confusing at times, so it's worth double-checking before heading out to avoid any surprises.

I had my son's christening at the radclyffe, Sue and Jamie decorated the room just how I asked for it, the buffet was delicious and there was loads of food. It was a great atmosphere, Sue and Jamie are very friendly.

Great pub, lots of beers on offer. It was reasonably priced, not too expensive for a pint. Decent pub grub menu. Great sized beer garden and children's play area. Dog friendly.

Super friendly staff, they allowed us use of their car park for a music video scene and were so accommodating, will be back for food and drinks with the team!

A good large traditional pub with a decent pool table and a projector for sports events with a lot of space. Prices are good and the parking is decent. Usually fairly busy but was quiet on the last visit. Only recommendation... turn the heating off! Its summer.
