About This Pub

Ah, the Fox Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, it's got this inviting atmosphere where the staff are absolute legends, always up for a chat and making sure everyone's looked after. Whether you're nipping in for a quick pint or settling in for the evening, the service stands out – owners are dead helpful, sorting out extras like food deliveries without a fuss. The place itself is clean as a whistle, with a smart layout and a cracking garden that's spot on for sunnier days, and it's brilliant that it's dog-friendly too. If you're into sports, there are loads of TVs dotted around, so you won't miss a moment of the game. On the flip side, the info on opening times is a bit of a muddle, so you'd want to double-check that before you head over. And without a website, it's not the easiest to get the lowdown online, which is a shame. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out, with plenty of positives that outweigh the niggles, but it's good to go in with your eyes open.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and create a really welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
  • Service is top-notch, with owners going above and beyond to help out, even with things like food deliveries.
  • It's spotlessly clean and nicely laid out, with a lovely garden area that's perfect for relaxing and even welcomes dogs.
  • Sports fans will love the multiple TVs showing all the action, making it a great spot for a casual get-together.
Cons
  • The operating hours listed seem a bit confusing and inconsistent, so it's worth checking in advance to avoid any surprises.
  • There's no website available, which makes it tricky to get the latest details or updates online.

Went for a nice quiet drink in the evening with my baby n her friend. Nice seating area outside, also a sheltered area where you can sit and smoke whilst having a drink so caters for everyone. I didn't stay long enough to rate 5 stars but from my experience I can definitely say 4 stars and would drink there again
