About This Pub
Ah, The Railway – what a lovely spot it is, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place has really nailed the balance of traditional pub vibes with a fresh, modern feel that wouldn't look out of place in the heart of Birmingham. The beer garden stands out as a real highlight; it's spacious, undercover, and even welcoming to dogs, so it's ideal for those balmy evenings or a cheeky Sunday session. The staff come across as genuinely friendly and on the ball, which always makes a big difference when you're settling in for a drink or a bite. Speaking of food, the burgers and fried chicken have folks raving – it's hearty, tasty stuff at prices that feel fair, and that alone is enough to draw you back. On the flip side, the operating hours are a tad confusing with some conflicting info floating about, so you might want to confirm before you go, just to avoid any disappointment. And without a website, it's not the easiest to keep tabs on what's happening, but overall, with that solid 4.6 rating from heaps of happy visitors, I'd say it's well worth a visit for a good laugh and some quality time with mates.

-
It's got a modern, spacious interior that feels like a trendy bar from the city centre, complete with a brilliant atmosphere and some entertainment to keep things lively.
Cons
-
The operating hours look a bit muddled in the details, with conflicting times listed, which might leave you scratching your head about when it's actually open – double-check before heading out.
-
There's no website to speak of, so it's tricky to get the latest updates or more info online, which could be a hassle if you're planning ahead.

Great beer garden , lovely barmaid. Some funny locals .
Popped in before going for a meal close by. Seemed a really friendly pub with entertainment. Great beer garden which is dog friendly. I hadn’t been before and was really impressed.
Not what you might expect!
Inside it feels like the type of modern bar you would find in central Birmingham or London.
Nicely refurbed and a large undercover beer garden out the back.
Didn't eat but the prices looked reasonable.
The Patty Freaks have arrived and oh my lord they have bought the goodies! Everything I tried was exceptional! Burgers, Fried Chicken, Loaded Fries!! I’d smash em all over again! Bloody lovely it was!
