About This Pub
Ah, the Farmers Arms – it's one of those reliable local spots in Blackpool that just hits the spot for a casual pint or a bite to eat. From what I've gathered from the reviews and the website, the staff really shine through; they're described as amazing and always on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly, which makes popping in feel like catching up with mates. The deals are an absolute winner too – think 2-for-1 on drinks and super affordable grub like custom burgers for a fiver, making it a brilliant choice if you're watching the pennies. It's family-friendly with a nice community feel, and being so close to the Pleasure Beach means it's ideal for a quick break from the fun. On the flip side, though, a couple of folks mentioned the atmosphere isn't always spot-on, with some swearing that could spoil things for those wanting a more relaxed setting, and it does have that classic pub charm that might not appeal to everyone if you're after something a bit more upbeat. Overall, it's a solid pick for a laid-back evening, especially if you fancy watching the footy or just enjoying a chat in the beer garden – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but keep in mind it might be more your cup of tea if you like things on the traditional side.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
Fantastic value for money with loads of deals like 2-for-1 drinks and budget-friendly meals, such as building your own burger for just £5.
-
It's spotlessly clean both inside and out, which really adds to the enjoyable experience.
-
A proper family-friendly spot with a great atmosphere and sense of community, perfect for a relaxed get-together.
-
Brilliant location near Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark, plus handy facilities like a beer garden, WiFi, and live sports on the telly.
Cons
-
The atmosphere can sometimes have a few rough edges, like occasional swearing that might put off families or those after a more polished vibe.
-
It has a bit of an old-school feel, which some might see as a traditional 'old man's pub', so it might not suit everyone looking for something more lively or modern.
-
Serving hours wrap up fairly early in the evening, which could be a downside if you're hoping for a late-night session.

Build your own Burger with chips & onion rings £5 ...... Great Staff .
Super value - especially for us oldies, but there are good deals for everyone as well. I've knocked off one star under ' atmosphere ' because I couldn't help but hear some swearing. That needs urgent attention so that potential customers are not put off.
Such an amazing local pub with such a good atmosphere and sense of community! The lovely Jason running the bar and keeping the place in order ! Would recommend to absolutely anyone who’s local or who wants somewhere good to go for food or drinks . Definitely coming back !
