We visited for a birthday meal at Saturday lunch time and from the phone call to book a table right to leaving we couldn't have been made more welcome. Caroline in particular really looked after us.

Lovely food. Great staff. Couldn't do more to help. I can't eat certain foods at the moment and they didn't mind changing their menu to suit me. Didn't wait long for food, which was a bonus. Lots of choice on the menu and cheap prices. There are plenty of car parking spaces. The pub itself was a little bit cold, but apart from that, excellent. I would definitely return
Hard to get to the bar as there were alot of people drinking in there not actually sitting down for the meal. It was loud and chaotic. If people have come there for Christmas day, it should be to eat, or close the bar when this is happening. No music, didn't feel christmas at all. Just watching people getting drunk.
Took a Chef & Brewer voucher in here lunchtime not knowing 100% if they could accept it.
The young gal n guy were SO helpful going out of there way to help us and polite and friendly!
So often these days you Don't receive this sort of Welcome at venues, it was Refreshing and Made Our Visit!
