About This Pub
Ah, the Darlington Flyer – it's one of those local spots that really pulls you in with its community feel and all the live sports on offer, making it a top choice if you're keen on watching the footy or rugby with a cold pint in hand. I've heard from mates that the drink offers are absolute bargains, and the outdoor area is perfect for soaking up the sun on a nice day, plus it's great that they welcome dogs so you don't have to leave your furry companion at home. On the upside, the stylish decor gives it a fresh, inviting look that makes you want to linger. But, let's be honest, it's not all smooth sailing – some folks have had off days with the service, like long waits at the bar or staff who aren't as friendly as you'd hope, and it can be a bit quiet when things are slow, which might not suit everyone. Still, if you're up for giving it a go, I'd say it's worth it for the atmosphere and deals, just maybe plan your visit for when it's buzzing to get the best out of it.
Pros and Cons

Cons
-

-
There have been times when waits for drinks drag on, leaving you stood at the bar longer than you'd like.
-
It can feel a tad quiet on off-peak days, like a Sunday evening, so it might not always have that buzzing energy you're after.
-
A few folks have mentioned unwelcoming experiences, which is a shame and could make some feel less comfortable.

Was very quiet on a Sunday night. Service and beers were good.
Waited long not served a pint after 15 minutes wait on counter then I gone out for a better place never coming back to this place .Staff not interested in serving people.
This was a superb pub for drinking, incorporating a stylish design from the patterns on the walls! The lights have an interesting layout how they are hanging down together and counter is styled well too, including mock greenery and a comedic Nobody Gets Out Alive sign. I had a refreshing pint of Cruzcampo, appreciating the outdoor seating area that was also kept clean!
Great venue to watch sports. Great outdoor area, plenty of seating. Good customer service and great price offers during the day. Never personally eaten here, but been informed it's good value and good food.
Absolutely disgusting attitude from the blonde woman working there!
She was very rude and aggressive for absolutely no reason when I asked where the toilet is she said "what a stupid question" then proceeded to laugh at me.
I think she has a problem with people who are autistic.
I bet I'm not the only person she's offended.
