About This Pub

You know, when I think about Daisyfield Inn, it's one of those hidden gems that really brings back the best of British pub culture. The place has this genuine, traditional feel that's just spot on for kicking back with friends over a pint – the atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and it's clear they're all about building that community spirit. I love how the beer garden and outdoor spaces make it a brilliant spot for a sunny afternoon, and the staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels welcome. Plus, with those inexpensive prices, it's easy to make a night of it without breaking the bank. On the downside, it's a bit of a shame they don't serve proper meals, just some basic snacks, so if you're hoping for a hearty dinner, you might need to plan ahead or head elsewhere. All in all, it's a top choice for anyone after a good old pub experience in Oldham, but keep in mind it's more about the drinks and the craic than a full dining affair.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is spot on – it's a proper traditional pub that feels warm and welcoming, ideal for a relaxed catch-up with mates.
  • They've got a fantastic beer garden and outdoor areas, perfect for enjoying a pint in the fresh air, especially on a sunny day.
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home, which really adds to the community vibe.
  • Prices are really reasonable, so you can pop in for a few drinks without worrying about the cost.
Cons
  • There's no proper food on offer, just a basic range of snacks, which might leave you a bit peckish if you're after a full meal.
  • It could be a tad hard to find if you're not from the area, tucked away as it is, so you might miss it on your first go-round.

Really nice atmosphere in this pub and guy on the bar serving us was really friendly and welcoming. Myself and my friends spent pretty much all the time in the smoking area out the back playing darts. Recommend this place if you’re looking for a chill pub with good atmosphere

Lovely public house with a great beer garden and an outside function room. Smallish car park with room for maybe 12 cars. Been living in the local neighbourhood for almost 13 years and never knew this existed. Well done for turning a small local pub into a great venue for small parties. Will be visiting again.

Great pub, went the other week for a birthday party and will be back for sure. The garden is huge with chickens, rabbits and activities so great if you have kids. Very friendly and welcoming.
