About This Pub

You know, after having a look at the buzz around Cromwells, it's clear this place is a real winner if you're keen on watching the footie or any other big event with your crowd. From the reviews, folks rave about the heaps of screens and projectors that make sure you catch every moment, paired with decent prices on drinks that keep things easy on the pocket. The staff sound like they're top-notch, always friendly and on hand, and there's loads of room for games like darts or pool if you fancy mixing things up. It's got that good atmosphere that makes for a fun night out, plus a covered outdoor spot that's handy when it's tipping it down. On the downside, the opening times seem a bit muddled, so you might end up planning around that, and it does feel more geared towards sports than a cosy chat over pints. All in all, it's a solid choice for a casual get-together, but just keep those quirks in mind for the best experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • Loads of screens and projectors for catching all the sports action, making it a brilliant spot for match days with mates.
  • Drinks are affordably priced, so you can enjoy a good selection of lagers without worrying about the bill.
  • The staff are really friendly and professional, always ready to help and make you feel welcome.
  • Plenty of space with fun extras like well-lit dart boards and pool tables for a bit of self-entertainment.
  • A covered outdoor area that's great for a quick break, even if the weather's playing up.
Cons
  • The operating hours can be a bit confusing or limited, so it's worth checking ahead to avoid disappointment.
  • It leans more towards a sports bar vibe, which might not suit those after a quieter, traditional pub experience.

Great sports bar with loads of screens to pick from. Staff were very friendly and professional, no was not a word in their vocabulary. Well lit dart board and pool tables, if you and your friends fancy a nite out of self entertainment, along with a bucket of bottles in ice for a good price.

Great pub/sports bar. Plenty of room and loads of TV's and projectors to watch football or any other event that is on. They have a smoking/garden area with a roof so it's nice even when it's raining. Decent prices and good atmosphere.
