About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Crescent Restaurant & Bar in Bath; it's one of those places that just hits the spot every time. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is spot on – fresh, inspired dishes made with love, like those succulent prawns or the hearty burgers, all sourced locally where possible, which really adds to the appeal. The team there are an absolute delight, always ready with a smile and that genuine warmth that makes you feel like you're among friends, whether you're popping in for a morning coffee or winding down with a glass of wine in the evening. It's tucked away in a charming side street near the Royal Crescent, so it's got that perfect blend of convenience and a peaceful escape from the hustle. On the flip side, though, it's only open five days a week, which could be a bit of a nuisance if you're trying to squeeze in a visit on a whim, and it leans more towards a refined restaurant feel rather than a classic pub with all the trimmings. Still, if you're after a solid, enjoyable spot for good food and a relaxed vibe, I'd say it's well worth seeking out – just check those opening times first to avoid any disappointment!

Recent Reviews
We found this lovely restaurant and bar by chance while waiting to enter the recent concert at the Royal circle. As it was raining we asked if we could just order drinks, we were very lucky to be given a table for two. My husband had a latte and carrot cake and I had a soft drink and a glass of wine. While we were here the staff dealt with intoxicated people, who were passing by and sheltering under the outside umbrella, and some rather rude, abrupt people. However the lovely blonde lady in particular, handled everything with calm and grace, but equally all staff were lovely and friendly, so well done!! Now we have found this place we look forward to returning to try what looks like a highly recommended menu.
Just. Perfect. The food is prepared with love, and it shows. The menu is original, fresh, and scrumptious. The staff is delightful. I wish there were 10 stars to give. The menu was so original, I can’t exactly name what we ate, my main dish was the cod - Yum. The pear dessert- scrumptious. All our appetizers were so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.
Had a lovely evening, great atmosphere and service. The food was delicious especially the Moroccan braised ox cheek. Would highly recommend :)
Prefect! The food was excellent! Service really nice! Great environment! I couldn’t recommend the food more! Will definitely be going again. I recommend the salmon prawn starter.
The overall atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
For the start, we ordered the Chili & Garlic Prawns—the prawns were super fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
For the main courses, we had the Crescent Burgers – 6oz Beef Burger. The beef was thick and juicy, and the portion of fries was very generous. We also tried the Seafood Linguini, and the seafood was incredibly fresh, especially the prawn and salmon.
For dessert, we had the seasonal special flavors—Cherry Berry and Chocolate. They weren’t too sweet and had a homemade ice cream texture, which we really enjoyed.
If we visit Bath again, we will definitely come back! 🥹❤️
