The staff are an absolute delight, always chatting away and sharing tips, which adds to that warm, community feel. And let's not forget the games; they've got chess and more to keep everyone amused, whether you're popping in solo or with the family. On the downside, if craft beers aren't your thing, you might find the drink selection a tad narrow compared to a classic pub. Oh, and it's a shame there's no website to peek at beforehand – makes planning a visit a bit trickier. All in all, though, it's a hidden gem that's well worth a stop if you're in the area, and I'd happily recommend it for a chilled-out pint with mates.
