About This Pub

Ah, Crabmill Inn – it's one of those hidden gems in Bromsgrove that just feels like a proper local spot, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this really inviting atmosphere where you can pop in for a pint and not worry about any loud distractions; it's all about enjoying good company in a relaxed setting. The staff are absolute stars – think top-notch service with a genuine smile, and they've even sorted out events like wakes with buffets and music, which shows they're proper community-minded. Plus, it's kept really clean, which is always a bonus when you're settling in for the evening. On the beer front, folks have raved about it being spot on, so that's a win if you're after a decent drink. But, fair's fair, if you're hoping for a full meal, you might be out of luck – it's mostly basic nibbles like baps and chips, so perhaps plan ahead or pair it with a takeaway. Overall, with a solid 4.3 rating, it's clear this place does a lot right for those casual get-togethers, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area, just keep those food expectations in check.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is really welcoming and perfect for catching up with mates or family without any blasting music – it's all about good chats and relaxation.
  • The staff, including the landlord and his team, are incredibly friendly and go the extra mile, like providing table service with a smile and even handling special events smoothly.
  • It's spotlessly clean, which makes for a comfortable visit every time.
  • They've got a solid selection of beers that hit the spot, as mentioned in the reviews.
Cons
  • Food options are pretty limited, just things like baps and chips, so if you're after a proper meal, you might need to look elsewhere.
  • No website means it's a bit tricky to check out the latest info or hours online before heading over.

Only in the area for one night, but a welcoming place and the beer was good, don't know if they do food or not, but worth a visit

It's a great pub to meet friends in (no loud music, plenty of places to sit etc) They don't really do food beyond eg baps and chips.

I had my dad's wake here. The place is very friendly and welcoming. The landlord and his partner are both really lovely. They even supplied the buffet and music. If you're looking for a nice little pub to spend the evening, this place should be at the top of your list.

Andy and his team have done a fantastic job of making the whole experience safe and enjoyable. The booking system is slick and well organised and the staff make sure your drinks do not run dry, excellent table service with a smile. Well done to all, you should be very proud.
