About This Pub
Oh, the Corner Pin in York is one of those pubs that just warms your heart the moment you step inside – it's got this incredible history stretching back over 400 years, making every visit feel like a little adventure. I love how the staff go the extra mile; they're chatty, helpful sorts who know their stuff about the drinks and the stories behind the place, which really adds to the fun. The beer garden's a highlight too, with its heaters and sheltered spots, so you can enjoy a pint outdoors without worrying about a sudden downpour. They've got a nice range of real ales on tap, which is always a winner for ale enthusiasts. On the downside, it's a shame they aren't offering food right now, so if you're planning a full evening out, you might need to sort that elsewhere. And while it's in a brilliant spot in the heart of York, it's a bit hidden away, so keep your wits about you to find it. All in all, it's a cracking spot for a relaxed drink and some good company, but just keep those little niggles in mind for a smoother visit.

You can have a pint in a 400 years pub!!
It’s a classic!
The Corner Pin does not serve food at the moment. The Barman, Greg was amazing, good fun and smiley. He was helpful, fast and efficient and knowledgable about the drinks and the history of the pub.
What a lovely pub came up on the steam train, went a walk round York & on the way back decided to go for a drink & it was a good choice, lovely old pub,,brilliant Service thank you.
Great pub great locals Great manager good size beer garden
In the heart of york blink you will miss it we loved it
Another of my favourite York pubs. A little off the beaten trail so lots of locals and not too many tourists..unlike Madge and Booth. Like a country pub in the city and high enough to avoid flooding. A selection of three real ales from the Marston's stable. Booth had Boondoggle from the now closed Ringwood brewery tradition. Very friendly landlord. Has a pool room to the side but I prefer the cosy original parts. Has outdoor seating.
