Ah, Church Street Tavern – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local gem in Colchester, doesn't it? I have to say, the staff really stand out; they're so welcoming and attentive, making every visit feel like catching up with old mates. The food is where it shines brightest – those burgers and steaks are absolute winners, and if you're in the mood for something special, the lamb chops are divine.
