About This Pub

Ah, Chandlers – what a gem of a pub it is, tucked away in Barrow-in-Furness. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this really inviting atmosphere where you can kick back with mates over a pint or tuck into a smashing breakfast. The staff sound like absolute stars, always attentive and making sure everyone's having a good time, which really adds to the whole experience. Plus, with affordable drinks and options like snooker, pool, and even watching the footie on the big screens, it's ideal for a casual get-together without breaking the bank. On the flip side, though, the opening times seem a tad confusing – all those slots for Sundays might leave you scratching your head about when it's actually open. And with not much recent feedback floating about, it might not be buzzing as much as it once was, or you could struggle to find up-to-date info since there's no website. Still, based on the glowing comments, I'd say it's worth popping in for a proper local pint – just keep an eye on those hours to avoid any disappointment!

  • The food gets high praise, especially the breakfast – it's spot on and leaves you wanting to come back for more.
Cons
  • The opening hours look a bit muddled from the info available, which might make it tricky to plan a visit.
  • There's not much recent chatter online, so it could be quiet or less active than it used to be.
  • Without a website, it's harder to get the latest updates or check what's on before heading over.
