About This Pub
Ah, Champs Sports Bar & Grill – it's one of those places in Ilford that feels like a reliable old mate, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, it's brilliant if you're keen on catching the latest match; they've got loads of screens making sure no one's left out. The staff come across as genuinely warm and on point, always ready with a smile and quick service, which really adds to the vibe. Plus, the food's a winner – think tasty, wholesome portions that leave you satisfied, and they're thoughtful enough to sort you a box for any extras. But, let's be straight, it's not without its downsides; some say it's a bit steep on the prices for the neighbourhood, and the drinks menu doesn't exactly wow with variety, so you might end up sticking to the basics. It doesn't always have that lively buzz, which could make for a quieter night than you'd hope, and that door charge for major events might make you think twice. All in all, it's a decent choice for a laid-back evening, but if you're after something more exciting, you might fancy exploring other spots nearby. Still, for a straightforward, no-fuss pub experience, it's worth popping in.

Cons

It can feel a tad pricey for what's on offer, especially when you're in an area like Ilford where you might expect better value.

Ok place if you are in Ilford
It's OK a little pricey for the area, never seems to be busy.
Limited number beers/ciders on offer.
Didn't try the food.
Nothing particularly inspiring.
You are probably better off going to O'Neils around the corner in all honesty.
Great local sports bar with many screens to watch your favourite sports whilst enjoying the quality bewerage they have on offer! Recommend!
Went for lunch with my husband and daughter, we were severed by a lovely chap who was also running the bar. We had a very lovely time, the food was amazing and a good healthy portion! They gave us a takeaway box so we could take our leftovers home :). Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, we were abit puzzeled as we couldn't find this place on google maps.
We will definatley come again very soon!
This is a lovely friendly place, extremely spacious and offers quality food. Friendly, conscientious and welcoming staff. Loads of well placed TV screens hosting a variety of sporting events. Only downfall was, they charge on the door for big events like boxing. But on the whole a great place to go.
