Castlegate Harvester in Dudley

Never had breakfast from here before and never will again. As you can see by the photo, the eggs were extremely overcooked. The worst eggs I've had in my life. Unlike dried out paper. I honestly dont know how they got them like that. Also had a ices latte with thick cream on top. They ran out of the normal straws that come with so didnt give me a straw. Its not a drink you can sip. I got a really thin straw off the bar, which was better than no straw. My partner got a beer and they forgot they put cleaner in it and gave him a pint with cleaner, which he took a sip of before realising. The lady apologised profusely. She was on her own and was nice. When she came to ask if my food was OK, I said yes even though it was a lie, just because i didnt want to bother the poor lady again. I will not be returning here again though unfortunately.

I have been to this Harvester a couple of times recently. I am very impressed with the place and the food is really good and it is nice and hot. Everything is freshly cooked to order too. The staff are very friendly and helpful and courteous. It has a large restaurant with ample amount of parking and it’s also free.

Fantastic from the moment walked in .very polite and welcoming. Server was brilliant very good 😊😊 and salad bar was clean the whole place just generally nice .

A large capacity Harvester with plenty of free parking in the car park. Food was hot, prepared quickly and served quickly. The salad bar was fully stocked up. Having pre booked and mentioned that we had a baby and pushchair, the initial communication with the waiter upon entry was disappointing as he wasn't being accommodating to the fact that we had a pushchair. The table we were given didn't have sufficient space for a pushchair, it was very tight and there was plenty of other empty tables available.
