About This Pub
Ah, The Carps – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a breath of fresh air when you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are an absolute delight, always ready with a smile and eager to help, which really makes the place stand out. The food is where it shines brightest; folks rave about the homemade Sunday lunches and other meals that are made with top-notch ingredients, offering great value without breaking the bank. Pair that with a solid range of beers and the occasional live band, and you've got yourself a right cosy spot for unwinding. On the flip side, it's a bit of a hidden gem in the back streets, so navigating there might take a moment if you're new to Boston, and without a website, it's not the easiest to plan ahead. Still, with such high praise and a strong rating, I'd say it's well worth seeking out for a proper pub experience – just pop in when you can to enjoy the good vibes and maybe catch a tune or two.

My favorite pub in Boston , The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you . Very clean and tidy premises, also great bands as well.
Great pub in the back streets with Batemans beer and others, friendly and welcoming
Just been for the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever eaten out! The beef was so tender, the Yorkshire puds to die for. Absolutely stunning hidden gem of a place. Everything homemade, really friendly staff, great service and incredible value. 100% recommend
What a hidden Gem! Wonderful for music lovers, the accommodation is fab and honest everything that you need. The meals are astonishing, all lovingly prepared from scratch with high quality ingredients. There’s a good variety of meals to suit all tastes. We chatted to the Lorraine and Georgia for our preferences and nothing was too much trouble over the three day stay. There are quiet rooms to relax in and enjoy the fare.
Excellent Staff, all are very welcoming, abundance of local characters, thank you to each of you for making our stay special and just being you. Real, unpretentious great quality, which is sadly lacking in designer pubs . Be prepared to park locally if you drive in, worth a visit 😁🤓👏
