About This Pub
Ah, the Canalhouse – it's one of those places that sticks in your mind long after you've left. I mean, where else can you sip a pint while gazing at a narrow boat bobbing along inside the pub? It's got this brilliant mix of history and fun, being in a Grade II listed building, and it's picked up some top awards for its beers, which are always spot on with a great variety to choose from. The food's another winner; think solid pub grub and specials that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank. And the team behind the bar are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly. On the downside, though, the canal can look a bit messy at times, which is a pity in such a unique spot, and it does fill up quickly, so you might end up waiting around if you pop in unannounced. Still, for anyone looking for a proper Nottingham experience, it's well worth a visit – the good bits far outweigh the little niggles, and you'll likely leave with a smile.

I think I've been here many years ago.
Definitely different with the canal boat in the pub, good selection of beers and busy even on a Tuesday definitely worth visiting for quirk ness
Good food and wide selection of beer. Got a table without a booking on a Saturday evening.
Brilliant place, as you walk in you can go over a little bridge where a canal boats is. Lots of seating good friendly staff. Wait time at bar was 6mins. Seating area is nice and comfy with good views 👌
One of the unique pubs I’ve been to and it has a lot of space. With the canal in built to the venue, it adds up a pleasant vibe. Also, a great selection of beers and the staff is friendly. Ideal to bar hop as there are a few other pubs close by.
A unique pub in a great location. There aren't many pubs that can say they have part of a canal and a canal boat inside. Quite unique feature, even though it was a bit untidy in the water.
The food was excellent. A good choice of meals and light lunches and really good quality with generous portions.
A nice outside area with lots of seating and good canal views.
